Kampot
Kampot City located on Preaek Tuek Chhu River in Kampot Province is famous for its pepper plantations and salt fields. Many buildings date from the colonial period, but construction has surged ahead recently.
To the west, Bokor National Park with its cool climate has forests, waterfalls and abundant wildlife. Remnants of Cambodia’s past is there for the intrepid few to find.
